The right temperature, in every room.
Furnaces, central air, heat pumps and ductless systems for homes in Greenwood and the towns around it. Tell us what is going on, add a photo if you like, and the team calls you back.
From the furnace in the basement to the thermostat on the wall: one team for the whole system, and plain words about what it needs.
Heating, cooling and the air in between.
Pick a system to see what the team looks at on a visit and what is useful to tell them when you call.

Furnaces & heating
Gas and electric furnaces: no heat, short cycling, odd smells at start-up, and the seasonal check before the first cold night.
What the team checks
Central air & cooling
Central air that runs but does not cool, freezes up, trips a breaker or never shuts off.
What the team checks
Heat pumps & ductless
Heat pumps and ductless mini-splits that heat and cool from one system, for whole homes, additions and rooms the ducts never reached.
What the team checks
Thermostats & controls
Thermostats that do not match the room, schedules that never stick, and swaps to a programmable or smart thermostat.
What the team checks
Indoor air quality
Dust that comes back, stale or dry air, and filters that fill fast: filtration, humidity and ventilation options for your home.
What the team checks
Ductwork & airflow
Rooms that never get enough air, noisy vents, and duct runs that leak into the attic or crawl space.
What the team checks
Nothing checked yet.
Five checks worth a minute.
A setting, a switch or a filter is worth a look before anything else. Tick them off as you go.
All five look right and the house still is not? That is the moment to call. Tell the team what you already checked.

A little care, each season.
What to look at around the house, and when. The current season is marked.
- Clear leaves and debris from around the outdoor unit
- Change the filter before cooling season
- Test cooling on the first warm day, not the first hot one
- Keep 2 feet of open space around the outdoor unit
- Check the filter monthly when the system runs all day
- Watch the condensate line for water near the indoor unit
- Change the filter before heating season
- Test heat before the first cold night
- Test carbon monoxide alarms and replace their batteries
- Keep snow and ice off the outdoor heat pump
- Keep furnace intake and exhaust pipes outside clear
- Keep supply vents and returns uncovered
From “it’s not right” to a visit.

Seven short steps: the problem, the system, where the unit is, your home and how to reach you.
Add photos if you like
The unit label, any codes on the display, a leak or a frozen line. They stay on your phone in this sample.

To ask anything the form did not cover and to arrange a time that suits you.
The visit
A look at the system, and what was found, in plain words.

Warm, and safe with it.
A furnace burns fuel inside your home. Three habits keep that side of it simple.
- Smell gas? Leave the house and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Do not switch anything on or off on the way out.
- Carbon monoxide alarms on every level, near bedrooms. Test them when the clocks change.
- Keep the outside pipes clear of snow, leaves and nests on a high-efficiency furnace.

What should I check before I call?
The thermostat mode and setting, the breakers, the filter and the outdoor unit. The checklist on this page walks through it; if all of that looks right, request service and tell us what you saw.
I smell gas. What do I do?
Leave the house now and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Do not switch lights or appliances on or off on the way out. Request service only after the gas utility says it is safe.
How much does a repair or a new system cost?
It depends on what is found and on the home, so there are no prices on this site. Call or request service and ask the team about your home.
Do you work on heat pumps and ductless systems?
Yes, heat pumps and ductless mini-splits are on the services list, along with furnaces, central air, thermostats, indoor air quality and ductwork.
Can I send photos of the unit?
Yes. The request form has an optional photo step: the unit label, any codes on the display and anything that looks wrong help the team come prepared.
How often should the filter be changed?
Check it monthly. How long one lasts depends on the filter type, pets, dust and how hard the system runs; replace it when it looks grey or clogged.
